Telnic Limited, the official registry operator for the .tel domain, welcomed interest from online directory service providers for .tel domain names.
.Tel's main purpose is to become the Web's number one database for posting contact information globally, which will come in handy for online directory owners.
Trademark owners are already advised to get their .tel domain names during the Sunrise period until February 2, after which registration will be opened to the public.
