Internet trading in China in the past decade does nto seem to be the best idea to have. Capitalism has just started to make its way to the minds of ordinary Chinese, so ideas of trading online here was met with skepticism and suspicion. Jack Ma was met with skepticism and suspicion.
Now just look at Alibaba.com, the trading site he founded, and you will see that he has gone a long way from 1994. The website has more than 36 million accounts and counting.
Now, he's China's Internet Godfather.
